From August 29 to August 30, the first general meeting of the second Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Shandong Province was held in Shandong building. Ge Yiping, director of the Standing Committee of Wenzhou Municipal People's Congress in Zhejiang Province, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Shandong provincial Party committee, leaders of relevant departments in Shandong and Wenzhou, well-known Wenzhou businessmen at home and abroad, and member representatives of Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in provincial, prefecture and city attended the meeting. Members of the Second Council and leading group of Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Shandong Province were elected and the inauguration ceremony and annual award ceremony of the Second Council were held.

Hu Xingrong, chairman of Duofu group and President of Wenzhou General Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, was also invited to attend the meeting and had an in-depth exchange with the guests. He said that Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Beijing is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Wenzhou chambers of Commerce in various regions, enhance friendship, seek common development, and jointly build a "century old chamber of Commerce, a century old Wenzhou business".
